Between November 2024 and March 2025, I prepared and began creating a deeply personal sculpture using my dad's ashes. During this time, I also had the privilege of working with 10 individuals to craft their own meaningful sculptures incorporating cremation ashes. This heartfelt project was made even more special through a wonderful collaboration with Dawn Ford, a grief and loss specialist, and George Downs, who beautifully captured the journey in a compelling film.

I am skilled in design, whether that is by hand or using 3D software I love to see my designs become a reality on the computer screen and then watch as it gets 3D printed! I love continually learning and exploring the ways technology can support the making process. I can get lost for hours on the minute details of a drawing to make sure all the pieces are where they are supposed to be.
I am a skilled sculptor working with a variety of scales – from rings on fingers to large plinth sculptures. My work always has a concept behind it – whenever they are worn or gazed on, they are reminders of beauty and strength and value. I always want be mindful of the struggles in my life and be reminded that I came through them. I am a mould maker and love slip casting in ceramics but these days I have a deep love for Jesmonite and creating silicon moulds for casting sculptures in Jesmonite. I love how versatile the material is and how easy it is to carve into after its cured.
I am a public speaker and want to share from my own experience how art has been a healing tool in my life and how through making and creating I have found a voice and an outlet for my creativity. I am determined to share with people that they can use an art form or practice – whether it is performance, music or visual art, in their everyday lives to build positive mental health and well-being
